lyrics

Walk me home, walk me home
Walk me home, walk me home, walk me home
Let the morning sun rise first
And see me in my bed
Walk me home, walk me home, walk me home

Don’t say I was clutching Mr. Boston
Don’t say I forgot the things I’ve learned
I knew it was a bad idea, but they were offering
And as you know, the taste of danger burns

Walk me home, walk me home
Walk me home, walk me home, walk me home
Let the morning sun rise first
And see me in my bed
Walk me home, walk me home, walk me home

Don’t tell Anita about all the kissing
Don’t let her know what happened on the roof
And if that girl took pictures,
I will steal her camera
Erase the memory, and erase all proof

It’s three o’clock and time to drop the curtain
Act three: a poor, gone drunk exits right
And when tomorrow comes
I will stand up and face these sins
Until then, I will say goodnight.

Walk me home, walk me home
Walk me home, walk me home, walk me home
Let the morning sun rise first
And see me in my bed
Walk me home, walk me home, walk me home

about

The Jaywalkers Dayton, Ohio

The Jaywalkers were born from the creative ferment of the University of Dayton music scene of the mid ‘00s. We started out playing activities board concerts, house parties etc. and got our baptism of fire in a battle of the bands where we had the honor of squaring off against Kelly Fine and other greats of the UD music scene eventually opening for Guster at the UD Arena.

The chicks are great too.
